PRESS RELEASE ON PENDING BILLS

9th February 2022

Most third-world countries survive on a government-driven economy. That so means that thousands of businesses rely on supplying the government and the chain that’s there in with billions worth of services and goods.

As we head to elections, millions of businesses stand to lose billions due to pending bills. Today businesses are owed close to Ksh. 300B by various government entities; National Government (Ministries, Parastatals, Commissions, Independent Offices), County Governments, Water Companies, and Public Listed Companies.

As an Association, we are in the process of listing all Pending bills.

We call upon all Kenyans who have genuine pending bills to present their details to our offices via association.suppliers@gmail.com

We remain committed to not only ensuring that Governments heed their call for prompt payment but also to ensure that those Government officials who deliberately make payments hard are held personally liable.

Public Service is key to any nation and ensuring that what’s supplied has been paid for.

For more information, kindly reach our Secretary-General via sg@suppliers.co.ke

Thank you

Peter Muriuki
Chairperson
